Professional interests

Daniel Riddle PT, PhD, FAPTA, is a faculty member in the Department of Physical Therapy as well as the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rheumatology at VCU.  He also is department coordinator of the College of Health Professions' Ph.D. distance-learning program. His primary research interests are in the areas of pain persistence, recovery and prognosis of knee osteoarthritis and knee arthroplasty, musculoskeletal diagnosis, outcomes and prognoses of various musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Riddle teaches courses on evidence-based practice and the disablement process.
